PLANET FRIENDLY
Our pets account for about 25% of meat consumption. Insects are an extremely resource-efficient protein source compared to other animal protein sources, and cause up to 94% lower carbon dioxide emissions and up to 93% lower consumption of water and land area compared to beef.
HIGH QUALITY PROTEIN
The black soldier fly, which is the protein source in our feed, is rich in amino acids with high digestibility, which makes it a high quality protein source. This means that our insect food covers your pet's need for all essential amino acids and that your pet can easily absorb the valuable protein.
IMPROVED GUT HEALTH
Insects are a new or novel protein source for many cats and dogs, which can be beneficial for pets with dietary sensitivities. This is because the animal has not been exposed to the protein source before, which reduces the risk of an adverse food reaction developing. This in combination with our diet containing Inulin, an important dietary prebiotic, ensures that petgood is extra kind to the gastrointestinal system.

Dr Nicky Sluczanowski
"The latest research shows that the protein meal from the H. illucens larvae (Black Soldier Fly Larvae or BSFL) has a high amino acid content and a high digestibility of the amino acids, making this a very high-quality protein source.”
