The active or working dog has a higher need for protein and fat. Our premium food for active dogs contains higher levels of these energy-giving nutrients, while also meeting the active dog’s requirements for vitamins and minerals to stay alert, strong, and perform at their best.
The food also contains L-carnitine and taurine, amino acids that helps build and maintain muscle mass and supports heart health — also a muscle that works harder in an active dog!
Our active food contains glucosamine and chondroitin to help maintain healthy joints. These naturally occurring substances support cartilage structure, promote mobility, and can help reduce stiffness – keeping active dogs with a larger strain on their joints mobile and comfortable!
Active and working dogs require more high-quality protein to preserve muscle mass and vital bodily functions – something our active food provides.
The black soldier fly larvae is an animal-based protein source, rich in essential nutrients and amino acids that your dog needs for energy and muscle building. The protein is easily digestible, making it easier for the stomach and intestines to absorb these important nutrients. In this recipe, we have also included eggs, to provide even more easily digestible protein.
Our diets contains healthy dietary fibers and prebiotics from natural sources, which has proven beneficial effects on the intestinal bacterial flora. Just like in humans, research has shown how a healthy intestinal flora in dogs and cats has positive effects on the body's well-being and general immune system.
Nutrients that feed the good bacteria in the gut are called prebiotics. Our feed contains natural prebiotics from the chicory root (inulin; FOS), to give the good intestinal bacteria optimal conditions to thrive. Dietary fiber contributes with an increased feeling of satiety, a healthy movement of intestines and passage time of the feed.

ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Crude protein 31.0%, Crude fat 17.0%, Inorganic matter 5.5%, Crude fibre 5%, Moisture 9.0%, Calcium 1.2%, Phosphorus 0.7%, Omega-3 fatty acids 1.5%, Omega-6 fatty acids 3.8%.

OTHER INFORMATION: Store in a cool, dry place. Best before date, batch number and registration number: printed on packaging. The product has a shelf life of 18 months. Produced in the EU. The feeding advice is based on a normal energy requirement of your dog. The body condition of your dog is the guidance for the actual feeding amount. When needed, you can give more or less food in order to keep your dog in optimal condition. It is advised to divide the daily amount of food in two portions. Be sure to provide fresh drinking water.
