INSTRUCTIONS: Storage conditions: Store in dry conditions at ambient temperatures. An opened package should be kept well sealed in the refrigerator and has a best-before date of 2-3 days, but is often enjoyable for several more days - smell and look! It is advised to divide the daily amount into at least 2 servings a day and serve at room temperature.

PRODUCTION: Our insect protein is sourced from The Netherlands. We also produce our food in The Netherlands, in close proximity to the insect facility.

Cats are carnivores and have a high need for protein in their diet. Protein is used both as energy, as building blocks for muscles and tissues, and provides amino acids such as taurine, which is essential for heart health.

Our wet food is primarily composed of our protein source: the larvae of the black soldier fly. The larvae naturally have a high protein content and are rich in essential amino acids, just like meat!

The wet food is a complete feed and, therefore, also contains all of the cat's essential amino acids. In addition to protein, the energy in the wet food mainly comes from the larvae's natural fats, and the carbohydrate content is thus low.

Since the launch of our cat food, we have received amazing feedback regarding the taste – cats love it! This is also confirmed by our taste panel of cats of different ages, breeds, and sizes who participated in evaluating the product – 86% of the cats involved liked the food, which is a great result considering the picky nature of cats.

Wet food has more flavor and aroma than dry food, which can make it more appealing to picky cats or cats with a lower appetite.

Our wet food contains the natural prebiotic inulin from the chicory root, which has proven beneficial effects on the intestinal bacterial flora. Just like in humans, research has shown how a healthy intestinal flora in dogs and cats has positive effects on the body's well-being and general immune system.

Prebiotics in combination with the highly digestible insect protein, make our wet food extra kind to the digestive system.

Our domestic cats may have difficulty getting enough water for several reasons:

• They have evolved from desert-dwelling ancestors, which makes it natural for them to get the fluids they need from their food.

• Cats can be very specific about where and when they want to drink; the type of bowl they prefer, where the water is placed, and preferring moving water over still water, which can affect how much they drink. They are also not very efficient at lapping up water!

Health benefits have also been observed with wet food for cats, such as a reduced risk of urinary tract diseases, which are believed to be linked to increased water intake.

By giving your cat wet food, you naturally provide one of the most important nutrients of all: water.

Our wet food contains plenty of insect fat, providing energy and essential fatty acids. Insect fat is rich in the healthy fatty acid lauric acid, which has been shown to have antioxidant activity. The diet also contains sunflower oil, packed with omega-6 fatty acids for skin and coat health.
