Unbeatable nutrition with sustainability as a bonus - using insect protein is a no-brainer for us. Since the launch of our products, many dog and cat owners have noticed the difference and tell stories of shiny coats, stable stomachs, and radiant energy!

A powerhouse of nutrients

The larvae we use as the sole animal ingredient in all our products contain a wealth of nutrients our dogs and cats need:

  • Plenty of easily digestible protein with high levels of essential amino acids, crucial for muscle building and many bodily functions.

  • Fat, which besides providing energy, offers beneficial fatty acids that support skin, coat, and brain health.

  • Minerals like calcium, potassium, iron, and zinc.

  • Vitamins, especially essential B-vitamins.

Larvae also contain dietary fibers that keep the stomach in shape. Research studies have even shown they can have a prebiotic effect, increasing the presence of good gut bacteria!

But don't just take our word for it - hear what Kustmarken, Sweden's largest breeder of guide and service dogs, has to say about how the food has worked for them and their working Labradors, German Shepherds, and Standard Poodles.

Production free from antibiotics

One significant advantage of the larvae we use is that they neither carry nor spread diseases. Thanks to their natural habitat and outstanding immune system, which allow the larvae to grow quickly and stay healthy, the production of our larvae is 100% antibiotic-free, growth hormone-free, and free from other undesirable substances. Another fantastic benefit, we believe, as antibiotics are a resource we need to handle with care!

Traceability & sustainability

All our larvae come from one place - the insect farm Protix in the Netherlands. This sets us apart from many other animal feeds where it can be difficult to know what kind of meat is used, where it comes from, and how the animals have been treated.

The production of our protein source is also much more sustainable than traditional animal sources - larvae require less land, water, and feed, and cause up to 5x lower carbon emissions for the same amount of protein. The production system is circular, with the energy required coming from renewable sources such as solar and wind power. Additionally, the larvae only consume plant-based food waste, meaning they utilize resources that would otherwise go to waste and convert it into the unbeatable nutrition that we can then feed our dogs and cats.
